The DAERA online subsidy claim form is open with a deadline of 16 May. A few hundred farmers won't be able to claim for their EFS payment until 28 Apr, a week from now, when an error is expected to be fixed. EFS Higher planners (I'm one) were asked to remind farmers that if they have an option like watercourse fencing on their plan that only has a Year 1 payment, they still need to put the full quantity completed on their claim each year, to show they've maintained it. If this isn't done two years running DAERA have said they "may" recover the money paid.
