We did it!
Every year we can't wait to get stuck in - there is something mesmerising and meditative about flax pulling.
We pitch the tent and enjoy a few nights under the stars - bliss.
Then about 4 or 5 days in we start to despair - the task seems monumental and we think we will never get there. The camping loses it's appeal.
But friends and family turn up, more and more every year and this year we ran a more formal open day for the first time.
A band of self confessed city slickers turned up and showed they can work as hard as any farmer and still be super glamorous and able to produce instagram reels at the same time.
We had great fun, lovely lunch, good chat and managed to get every bit pulled and stooked over the next few days.
Huge thanks to everyone who came and helped.
