I have been experimenting with compost tea/extracts and spraying on my grazing land. I first learnt about it from Nicole Masters book 'For The Love of Soil'. I started a worm bin so I could use their poop - vermicast - to make a top quality extract. At first I was brewing it in an IBC with a pump circulating and aerating it for 24hrs. I worked with a ratio of about 3kgs:1200L:3ha (never exact!) then I used my boom sprayer, removed all gauze filters and nozzles and dripped it out on my fields. I did see some impressive results of greener grass and better infiltration at the end of the season. This year I think I'm going to skip the brewing and just extract it with the methods in these videos instead. I also bought some Fulvic acid, humate granules, humus liquid and BAM to get experimenting, making some brews from fermentation processes and I will add some of these to my compost extract for field trials.
You can make great compost in many ways but the experts say that the top two types, yielding the best results are, the Johnson-Su Bioreactor and Vermicast.
I thought I would put a list of some video links if anyone was interested in learning more about it.
Daniel from https://soilecologylab.co.uk/ where you can get your soils biology and F:B ratios tested, posted this great video about making extracts.
Corey Miller has developed a cleaver system for his large scale operation in this video: Compost on a large scale: Regenerating 1000 acres: With Cory Miller and Kevin Lackey

Dr. David Johnson shows his simple system for extracting and spraying all in one system.
Joel Williams - "Making Compost Tea" - a video from his talk at the NOTS.ie Biological Farming Conference in 2018. Check his website as he often runs excellent online courses. He has one coming up on foliar Nitrogen, looks like a deep dive into the subject, could learn a lot. An article he wrote on foliar N is a good read too: https://issuu.com/directdriller/docs/direct_driller_magazine_issue_17/48
Korey Fauque shows his New Bio 5 Extractor technology to make farm scale compost extract. Maybe someone pretty tech savvy could build something similar here in NI!
The Johnson Su Composting System & BEAM (Biologically Advanced Agricultural Management) is fully explained in this video, but loads of other videos available on how to make this composting system.
