Following on for the last webinar, does anyone know the recipe for making a large qty of bam. Have a lot of slurry to treat and cost was putting me off. This would be a game changer.
That looks great thanks. Probably too far away for most but if interested I have Sam from new gen coming to a farmers meeting in Enniskillen on 27th March at 7.30. More than welcome just let me know. I’m trying to gauge numbers. Thanks.
Ulster wildlife EFS group meeting 21st March at 7.30pm in Fermanagh House examining soil biology and making better use of Cattle Slurry and Farm yard Manure by biological treatments.
Sam told me their 20L drum can brew up to 200L. So add 180L of water and put in air right container for a couple of weeks. if you had IBC’s you could do a fair bit at a time. I’m not sure what the ratio mix for adding to the slurry is though. But they have this (photo attached) on their product data sheet for effluent ponds which I’m guessing could be equivalent to our outdoor slurry tanks so not massive difference to a tank I’d imagine. if you brew up the qty first you would get better value for the volume of slurry.
Sam is really helpful, I’m sure he would advise you if you gave him a call his number is on the NewGenAgri website
I have 2 drums here to extend and was considering doing it in a 1000litre ibc for handiness. Anyone any thoughts?
Having a go at extending 20 litres of BAM today.

I presume these are the types of valves needed for the brewing?
Will you not need some molasses as a feed source for the microorganisms to multiply?
